Cashout Poker - What is it?
Cashout Poker was invented by two-time WSOP bracelet winner Mel Judah and is a revolutionary new tournament poker concept that is designed to benefit all tournament poker players.
How Does it Work?
Cashout poker incorporates a unique payout structure that enables players to leave a tournament at any time and cashout a proportion of their chip stack.
For example, if the tournament buy-in is $1,000, and there are 500 players, the prize pool will be $500,000 in total. With Cashout Poker there will be two prize pools, the main prize pool and a cashout pool, each with an equal value of $250,000.
Let's say you receive 1,000 in tournament chips for the $1,000 buy-in and you wish to cashout during a tournament, you can do so receiving half the value of your current chipstack from the cashout pool.
For instance, if you have 40,000 in tournament chips, but have to leave the game for some reason, you can cashout and receive $20,000 in real money. The money left in the cashout pool at the end of the tournament will be divided out between the last two players, 60% to the winner and 40% to the runner up. This is in addition to the prize money not in the cashout pool.
